About

Watercolor is the illumination of my existence.

The eye catches a moment in time, a place, a sunshine and here I am spreading my tools and ready for the emerging challenge.

The observation, the quiet sitting, the necessary awareness, together with the freedom to try, err, invite chance.

The colors in water flow along, adjust themselves. There is no place for corrections. Freshness is more important than precision.

Any insights I gained, I will try to apply in my next painting.

If I managed to capture the pomegranate sparkle, the cheerful gleam of the melon slices, the summer tune of the sabra leaves, something in me expands, something of me is exposed.
